Evolution of Landside Access to the Port of Yantian

Yantian Port developed into a leading global container port through more than 20 years of continuous construction and improvement efforts. The facility has been a primary catalyst for the area's development and expansion. As the port's container volumes increased and the city of Shenzhen's population grew, the regulatory agencies took a very proactive role in promoting and enabling plans for roadway improvement projects to address the needs of both general public travel and freight movement.
